The difference between Basic & Advanced translation
Translate My Store has two options when translating to a different language: Basic or Advanced.
Basic - allows you to dynamically translate between languages.
Advanced - has more features that let you customize your translations.
When you add a new language to your store, the Basic option is automatically selected. If you'd like to use the Advanced option instead, click on the More actions button next to the language and then select Change to Advanced Translation.

Both options are user friendly and if you're not sure which one you should use, you can use Basic for some languages and Advanced for others and then decide which one meets your requirements.
Shopify Platform Limit
This warning pop-up will trigger when you are trying to set the 21st alternative language to Advanced.
Our app will still allow you to add more languages according to your plan limit; however, it can only be translated using Basic Translation. Alternatively, you can change a language to basic translation type, and change the language you prefer to Advanced instead.
Note: It is recommended to set only the published languages in advanced mode, as this limit applies whether the languages are published or unpublished.
