Change Currency Conversion Rates

Currencies can be managed either by Shopify or by our app, depending on whether Shopify supports the currencies in your region. To determine whether a currency is managed by the app or by Shopify, visit the App "Regions and Currency" page. Currencies will be labeled as either "managed by app" or "managed by Shopify", as shown below:

"Managed by App" means our app handles the currency conversion, display, and formatting.

"Managed by Shopify" means Shopify takes care of the currency conversion, display, and formatting.

Update conversion rates for currencies managed by App

By default, conversion rates are set to "auto" for currencies managed by the app. To set a manual conversion rate for your currency, follow the steps below:

1. Go to the "Regions and Currency" page on the app dashboard or in the sidebar.
2. Click the "Edit" button next to the currency managed by our app for which you want to set a manual exchange rate.
3. In the exchange rate section, select "Manual" from the dropdown menu.
4. Enter your desired exchange rate in the "Manual Rate" field.
5. Click "Save".

Please note:

• The default auto conversion rate is provided by Shopify, same as the real-time rates used by Shopify.
• Currently, manual rates are based on US dollars.

Update conversion rates for currencies managed by Shopify

By default, your currency conversion rate is set to "dynamic" for currencies managed by Shopify, meaning your prices automatically adjust based on Shopify real-time exchange rates. To learn more, please visit this article from Shopify.

You can set a manual conversion rate for your markets in the Shopify, by following the steps below:

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Markets.
2. In the Markets section, click the market where you want to add a manual exchange rate.
3. In the market settings, click Product and pricing.
4. Click Manage exchange rate.
5. Select Manual.
6. Enter the exchange rate.
7. Click Save.

These rates are based off of your store's base currency in Settings > Store details, even for markets where you've set a base currency that's different from your store's currency.
