How to fix broken HTML after translation
If you have a broken HTML after translation, this may result in unwanted result, format and/or presentation of that part of your store.
For example, in my product below, this is how it should look like
But here, when i select the "Français/French" language, the whole description is entirely different from the original (some text being bold, bullet points not properly applied, etc). When this happens, you have broken HTML.
Knowing this, i can fix this with the app with 2 methods. I'll start with the easier one that will almost always work!
AI & Autopilot Translation
The first method is to use "AI & Autopilot translation".
Here I have several options, I can either try to translate all of it using the AI translator or I can also translate the whole category where that is located. For this tutorial, I will only be translating that particular category to save credits.
As you can see above, I have only picked the "product" category and chose to translate "all" This is because it is already technically translated but i still want the AI to translate it again so that the AI can fix the HTML tags for me.
Now that it's done, we can see that my "Français/French" language is now properly translated and my HTML tags are now also applied properly!

Manual Translation
Another way to fix this would be to use the Manual Translation tool to edit the HTML tags yourself. If you do not have the proper knowledge about HTML tags, I suggest contacting us at help@hextom.com to help you with this. If you know what you are doing, you can manually edit the text's html with the Manual Translation tool. You can copy a part of the text to search it with the Manual Translation Tool's Keyword search.
Once this is done, click the "< >" Icon. This is the code view icon, and will let us see the text in the original HTML. Then, you can edit it directly to correct the errors with the HMTL tags. In this example, there were some tags that did not close, so we add the closing tags to those elements.
Once you are done, click "Save". And you're done! if you have done it right, you should be good to go with the proper translation and Tags being applied!
