How to find a translated image to edit or remove it
If you are looking for a tutorial on Image Translation, you can click Here
- you see that an image is being translated.
- you didn't translate it with our app's image translation tool.
- you would like to not translate this image.
This is the image that is supposed to be displayed on both the English & French page. As you can see, this image is displayed on the English page.
But if you look at it on "Francais/French" page, You can see that it's different because the image has been translated/replaced.
To remove this image's translation, first you have to find it in the app. To do that, there are a few steps that you need to follow:
First, you have to get the original language's source and find it in the app. To find the source, you can press F12, or right click in the browser and click "Inspect"
Then from here, you can either press Ctrl + shift + c (on windows) or cmd + Shift + c (on mac) or you can also click the "Element select icon"
and point and click on the image that you'd like to find in the app.
You should be able to see it on the elements, it usually starts with "img src" (image source). After that, you will be selecting a part of the source and then search for it in the app. The best part to select is the short section after the last backslash. In this case, let's try to search for "Special-Offer".
After that, You'll be going to the "Manual Translation" section of the app, Choose the "French" language, select "all" for translation status and search "special-offer"
Here, you can see that there is a translation present in the image. You can delete the translation if you want to remove it from your store. Since you would like to remove the image translation, you can refer to the steps below on how to do it.
That's it! As you can see below, The image translation is gone and it is still showing the default image even in the "Francais/French" language.
