AI Image Translation Tutorial

Our AI Image Translation tool allows you to automatically generate translated versions of your images without needing to manually edit them. If you don't have a translated file ready to upload, you can use our AI to create one in just a few minutes.

How to use the AI Image Translation tool?

1. To start, go to the Translation page in the app and then navigate to the Translate Images section.

2. Locate and select the image you wish to translate. If the image is not appearing in the list, click Sync product images or Add product to find the image you want to translate.

3. Click the Translate image with AI button next to your target language.

4. A progress bar will appear, showing the real-time status of your request.

• Estimated Time: Most images are processed in approximately 1–2 minutes.
• You can click Cancel if you need to stop the process before it finishes.

5. Once the AI has finished, the original and the new translated image will be displayed side-by-side for comparison. You have three options:
   • Save: Apply the translated image to your store.
   • Cancel: Discard the result (Note: This will not restore the used credit).
   • Retry: Generate a new version (Note: This will consume another credit).

Thats it! You can track all your AI image translation history on the View Tasks page, together with other translation tasks.

• Clicking the base image thumbnail will open a pop-up showing the original and translated images side-by-side for your records.
• If the task fails, click the Details button to see the specific reason.

Which AI models power the Image translations?

Our AI Image Translation is powered by Seedream and Google Gemini’s Nano Banana 2.

• Each model has its own unique strengths and limitations. To save you time, the app automatically selects the most suitable model based on your original image and specific translation requirements.
• Please note that manual model selection is not yet supported.

How do credits work with Image translation?

• Consumption: Each AI image translation consumes 1 credit.
• Cancellations: Credits are consumed once the AI generation starts; canceling or retrying will use additional credits.
• Credit Allocation: Your monthly credit allowance for AI image translation is determined by your subscription plan. You can check your total monthly allowance and plan features by visiting our Plans and Pricing page.
